Mango Fire Wings!

Is there anything better?

There's a bunch of ways to get this done, but here's what we do:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

  • Season the wings and drumsticks with olive oil salt and pepper.

  • Lightly oil the baking sheet too so they don't stick (you don't want to lose any of that skin or hot sauce magic!)

  • Bake for 20 mins

  • Grab your Jawn's (we chose the Mango Fire!!), whip it up with some melted butter while you wait. (We went with a 70:30 ratio in favor of Jawn's, but you could do more butter for a thicker stickier end result.)

  • At that 20 minute mark baste the top. of the drumsticks liberally and flip them over

  • Bake for another 20 mins then baste the other side.

  • Do this a third time to get the outside really covered.

  • Any remaining sauce can be spread over the cooling wings.

  • Top with green scallions and chives of course!

  • We cooled these for about 5 mins then we devoured them in another 5.

HOT TAKE: The skin sucks in the most flavor when it is super crispy, so save enough sauce to make the final post-cook basting the most liberal one!
